THE ART OF SAYING NOTHING
A corporate jargon generator for every working day.
Turn a simple thought into an impressively complicated sentence. Choose a workplace situation, generate a phrase, and copy it into your next office joke. Each result comes with an “In human” translation that strips away the buzzwords.
There are 3,768 phrases across six situations, from self performance evaluations to AI-first transformation. The generator avoids repeating complete phrases within each category until you have seen them all. When browser storage is available, it remembers your history on this device.
Self performance evaluations
For the annual ritual of turning “I did my job” into a strategic achievement.
“I demonstrated exceptional adaptability by delivering against three successive definitions of success.”
In human: The goalposts moved three times.
Dealing with product managers
Roadmap discussions, scope changes, and the deceptively small “quick tweak.”
“The roadmap is a living document, but it appears to have developed a life of its own.”
In human: The plan keeps changing.
Meetings and circle-backs
Business jargon for alignment meetings, follow-up meetings, and meetings about meetings.
“This feels like a pre-alignment conversation for the actual alignment meeting.”
In human: We aren't deciding anything today.
Explaining missed deadlines
A vocabulary for slipping timelines and strategically revised expectations.
“The deadline was directional; the complexity turned out to be quite specific.”
In human: We guessed the date before understanding the work.
Professionally passive-aggressive emails
For the moment when “as previously discussed” needs a little extra polish.
“I appreciate your copilot's perspective and would now welcome yours.”
In human: What do you actually think?
Leadership and AI buzzwords
AI-first strategy, agentic workflows, copilots, and the next enterprise transformation.
“Our agentic transformation has reached the point where the agents need a steering committee.”
In human: Even our bots have bureaucracy.
A little clarity, for a change.
What is corporate bullshit?
Corporate bullshit is workplace language that sounds important while saying very little: “unlocking synergies,” “operationalizing alignment,” or “activating a scalable value proposition.” This generator turns that familiar office vocabulary into satire, with a plain-English translation beside every phrase.
Does this generator use AI?
No. It combines a written phrase library directly in your browser. The AI buzzwords are part of the joke: you'll find references to large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), hallucinations, copilots, and humans in the loop. You don't need an AI subscription or an account.
Can I use these phrases in a performance review or email?
You can copy any phrase. They're written for humor, so use your judgment before sending one to a colleague. For an actual performance review, specific accomplishments and results will say more than any amount of synergy.
Is it free, and do I need to sign up?
It's free and requires no signup. Choose a situation and select “Generate bullshit”; on a keyboard, you can also press G. Use “Copy phrase” to copy the result.
